When you are accepted for VAKE 2021 and the situation permits us to run VAKE as planned, we'll send an invoice that must be payed within ten days to secure your place in the competition. Either way, we will not claim the entry fee until March. 

We will try to keep the entry fee for VAKE 2021 at 4500 NOK per participant (9000 NOK per team), but we might have to increase the fee somewhat due to Covid-19 adaptions. 

Included in the fee - NB Might be subject to Covid-19 adaptions

• Bus transfer from Kirkenes airport to Berlevåg 
• Transportation and storage of excess luggage Berlevåg-Vadsø
• Accommodation in Berlevåg
• Dinners and breakfasts in Berlevåg 
• 1:100 map of the Varanger National Park
• First Aid services during the competition
• One PLB tracker per team for safety and live tracking service
• Heated tents on certain checkpoints 
• Necessary bus transfers after the competiton
• Hot tub, sauna and dinner at the Sirkka farm in Vadsø after the race
• Accomodation in Vadsø Saturday-Sunday
• Taxi transfer from Scandic Hotel Vadsø to the Hurtigruten port on Sunday 
• and much more…

Not included in the fee

• Airline tickets to Kirkenes or Berlevåg
• Other travel arrangements than the VAKE transfer bus on Tuesday
• Single room at Scandic Hotel Vadsø
• Your gear, food and gas supplies as listed in the Packing list

Cancellation

When you are accepted for VAKE 2021 and the Covid-19 situation permits us to run VAKE as planned, we'll send an invoice that must be payed within ten days to secure your place in the competition. We will not claim the entry fee until March. 

We will update the cancellation rules December 6th. 

Either way, you should have a travel insurance that covers your loss if you have to withdraw because of illness, injuries, Covid-19 travel restrictions or if VAKE is cancelled due to force majeure.
